Justice Department Uses Special Terrorist Removal Court for the First Time

The Justice Department filed the first case in a special court Congress created in 1996 to deport noncitizens using secret government evidence. The court had gone unused for nearly 30 years. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the filing seeks to deport Nazira Haji Zada, 47, a Fort Worth legal resident accused of supporting ISIS. Her hearing was set for Thursday.
