Disputed Election Turned Deadly in Pakistan-Administered Kashmir

A protest group in Pakistan-administered Kashmir says more than 40 of its supporters were killed during regional elections on July 27 and 28. The government says one security officer died and five were hurt. The group was banned in June under anti-terrorism laws, which Amnesty International, a rights organization, calls unlawful. Two rounds of voting remain.
