Labor MP Luke Gosling arrested over alleged assault on NT's top official

Federal Labor MP Luke Gosling, 54, was arrested by NT Police on 30 July over an alleged assault on David Connolly — the Northern Territory's official representative, called the Administrator — at a Darwin festival. Gosling stayed in custody, uncharged as of Thursday morning. He has called the claims "ridiculous allegations that I categorically deny."
