Federal Labor MP Luke Gosling arrested over alleged assault on NT Administrator

Federal Labor MP Luke Gosling, 54, was arrested by NT Police on 30 July 2026 over an alleged assault on the Administrator of the Northern Territory, David Connolly, at a cultural festival in Darwin. Gosling, member for Solomon, remained in custody and had not been charged as of Thursday morning. He has previously called the claims "ridiculous allegations that I categorically deny."
