US Gives $600M for Vaccines but Blocks WHO from the Funds

The US released $600 million to Gavi, a group that buys vaccines for poor countries, but ruled that none of the money can go to the World Health Organization, the UN's health agency. A July 30 government statement confirmed the ban. The move extends Trump's January 2025 decision to leave the WHO into how vaccine money is spent.
