Winamp to Launch Paid Music Service Using Deezer's Technology

Winamp and Deezer announced a partnership on July 29, 2026. Deezer will provide its music library and streaming technology so Winamp can offer a paid subscription service. Winamp keeps its own look and app. The new player is due in the first half of 2027. Winamp says it has over 40 million people using its free desktop app.
