Winamp Licenses Deezer's Full Streaming Stack for Premium Music Subscription

Winamp and Deezer announced a strategic partnership on July 29, 2026. Deezer will supply its white-label technology and globally licensed catalog to power Winamp's upcoming premium subscription service. Winamp retains its own branding and user experience. The next-generation Winamp Player is slated for first-half 2027 launch. Winamp claims over 40 million active free desktop users.
