FCC Blocks New Robot Vacuums in a Market Owned Entirely by China

Every major robot vacuum brand sold in the US — including Roomba — is now Chinese-owned. On July 27, the FCC banned new foreign-made ground robots, meaning no next-generation robot vacuums can reach American buyers without special permission.
