Google's Gemini assistant can now read your screen and act across apps on Mac

Google's Gemini for Mac now lets you hold the fn key to call up the assistant from any window. It can type what you say without your "ums" and "ahs," and if you allow it, read what's on your screen and carry out tasks across multiple apps. It's available worldwide but only in English, putting it up against Apple's own assistant.
