Rights Group: Iran Must Stop Executing Protesters

Amnesty International asked Iran on July 28 to stop killing protesters after unfair trials. Human Rights Watch says at least 24 people have been executed on political charges since March 18. Many were arrested during January's mass protests, which activists say killed over 6,200 people. Iran has executed 424 people total in 2026.
