Government Document Confirms Detainee Was Force-Fed While on Hunger Strike

A government health document, published February 2026 and reviewed by The Guardian, confirms an unnamed detainee who went on hunger strike between October and December 2025 was force-fed, given fluids against their will, had a tube inserted to drain urine, or had blood drawn without consent. DHS did not clarify which occurred. This is the first such case under Trump's second term.
