US Walks Out of UN Meeting, Threatens to Cut Funding

The US walked out of a July 27 United Nations meeting on Ukraine after France criticized Washington for voting with Russia and North Korea on a human rights issue. Ambassador Jeff Bartos warned of "consequences" and said the US might rethink its role and money at the UN — a global forum for international cooperation that the US has already been pulling back from.
