Poll shows National could lose 12 of its 48 MPs
An RNZ-Reid Research poll puts National at 28.7 percent of the vote, which would cut its MPs from 48 to 36. Paul Goldsmith, running against ACT's David Seymour in Epsom, was unsure he would return. Chris Bishop said keeping his Hutt South seat was "highly unlikely." Nicola Willis, who relies on party ranking, said she was not concerned.
