In his first big TV interview as prime minister, Andy Burnham told the BBC he would publicly disagree with Donald Trump when Britain's interests require it. "You have to defend your own national interest before anything else," he said. Burnham, new to foreign policy, has spoken to Trump by phone but not met him in person yet.
