Huge Wildfires Force 330,000 People to Leave Homes in France and Spain

More than 330,000 people had to flee their homes across France and Spain this week as wildfires burned on both sides of the Pyrenees mountains. One fire in Gironde, France, blackened an area larger than many cities — among the worst since World War II. Madrid's leader called it the region's worst ever. A man died near Valencia.
