More than half of Labor's federal MPs are now women — a first. Women also hold just over half of cabinet spots. But when insiders name who might replace Albanese as leader, every name is a man: Butler, Chalmers, Marles, Burke. Tanya Plibersek, soon the longest-serving woman in the House, doesn't rate a mention.
