FDA Panel Says Compounding Pharmacies Can Keep Making Most Popular Peptides
An FDA advisory panel voted July 23–24, 2026 to recommend six of seven peptides — including BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, and MOTS-c — for the agency's bulk compounding list. Compounding pharmacies are special drugstores that mix custom medications. If the FDA agrees, they could keep making these popular products. None have formal FDA drug approval. The vote is advisory, and no final decision timeline has been announced.
