Natural Gas Prices Dip Below $3

U.S. natural gas for August delivery ended at $2.871 per million Btu on July 24, 2026 — down 1.5% for the day and 1.4% for the week, per Energy Intelligence. Prices briefly neared $3 the day before but couldn't hold. Gas storage stood at 3,056 Bcf on July 17. The August contract settles July 29.
