SpaceX stock closed at $115 on July 24, down about 42% from its peak above $200, and dropped 2% more after hours after the rocket's main booster failed to land properly. It was the first flight since SpaceX went public in June 2026 in history's largest IPO. The landing failure is the second in a row.
