BBC keeps close watch on Andy Burnham

BBC political editor Chris Mason posted a video on 20 July 2026 asking what image Andy Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester, wants to project. It is the BBC's third piece on him in three weeks, after written articles on 17 July and 29 June. The BBC also added a "Follow Andy Burnham" button to its website.
