Florida Man Arrested for Hiding Theft Software in Steam Games

FBI arrested Zyaire Wilkins, 21, of North Lauderdale, Florida, on July 14, 2026, for planting hidden theft software in eight games on Steam from May 2024 to February 2026. The software hit about 8,000 computers, broke into roughly 80 digital currency wallets, and stole at least $220,000. The FBI is asking other victims to come forward via a public form.
