
Conservative MP Patrick Spencer found not guilty of sexual assault
A court jury has cleared Conservative MP Patrick Spencer of two sexual assault charges. After seven hours of discussion, the twelve jurors found him not guilty at Southwark Crown Court on 17 July 2026. Spencer, 38, who represents Central Suffolk and North Ipswich, had been accused of touching two women's breasts at the Groucho Club in Soho in August 2023.
