2026 Election Ads Could Cost a Record $11.6 Billion; Trump Led TV Spots

Firm AdImpact now expects the 2026 elections to see a record $11.6 billion in political ad spending, up from $10.8 billion. Its July 15 report found Donald Trump appeared in over 500,000 commercials from April through June — more than any single topic, including immigration, taxes, healthcare and crime.
