Amazon Replaces Its God of War Lead Actor After Injury; Four Finished Episodes to Be Redone

Ryan Hurst tore a bicep doing a stunt on Amazon's God of War set, so the lead role of Kratos must be recast. Four finished episodes will be filmed again with the new actor. Hurst's surgery recovery won't meet the mid-October target. No replacement is named. The Amazon MGM/Sony series was announced in 2022 and previously restarted creatively in October 2024.
