Amazon Recasts Kratos After Ryan Hurst's On-Set Injury; Four Completed Episodes to Be Reshot

Ryan Hurst tore a bicep performing a stunt on Amazon's God of War set, forcing a recast of Kratos. Four fully completed episodes will be reshot with the replacement. Hurst's surgery recovery won't meet the mid-October production target. No replacement is named. The series, from Amazon MGM and Sony Pictures TV, was announced in 2022 and previously reset creatively in October 2024.
