Christchurch port: chairman says DP World plan changes how the port runs, not who owns it

Christchurch's port company chairman Bryan Pearson told the council the DP World proposal would change how the port operates, not sell it off. He said no decision happens without talking to the council first. The board gets advice in late July. Three local iwi support the plan; two unions do not.
