CCHL chairman says DP World Lyttelton Port proposal is an operating model change, not an asset sale
CCHL chairman Bryan Pearson told Christchurch City Council the unsolicited DP World proposal "has nothing to do with the sale of the port or port assets" but would be "a material change to the operating model." Pearson said no decision would be made without first consulting the council. The CCHL board receives its initial assessment in late July. Three local rūnanga endorse the bid; two unions oppose it.
