Gabriel Perez, who runs the White House teleprompter, is in settlement talks with federal regulators. He allegedly made nearly $100,000 on Kalshi, a website where people bet on future events, by wagering on words Trump would say in speeches — using early access to the speech text. Kalshi froze $90,000 and reported him, a first for a White House employee.
