UK Plans Rule Requiring Pay to Be Shown in Job Adverts

The UK government plans to require employers to show pay in every job advert. The rule, called "say what you pay", was announced in a news release dated 5 November 2026. It aims to help young people make informed choices and to narrow the gap between men's and women's pay. The detailed rules are not yet published.
