UK Plans Legal Requirement for Employers to Publish Salaries in Job Adverts
The UK government plans to make it a legal requirement for employers to publish salaries in job adverts, under a measure branded "say what you pay". Announced in a news release dated 5 November 2026, the rule is intended to help young people make informed choices and help close the gender pay gap. Regulations have not yet been published.
