Website Host DreamHost Says Hackers Stole Customer Emails and Logins

DreamHost, a website hosting company, confirmed hackers stole customers' emails and login details during an attack that began in August and lasted months. It disclosed the break-in in a filing with California's attorney general, after an outage lasting several days. A spokesperson said affected customers are "well under 10%" of its roughly 400,000 paying customers, but gave no exact figure.
