Voters Block or Pause Local Data Centers in 38 of 41 Votes
Voters chose to ban or pause local data centers, huge computer warehouses, in 38 of 41 ballot questions on Election Day, Fast Company reported. Towns in Ohio, Kansas and Florida passed bans, per the Wall Street Journal. MarketWatch reports U.S. spending on data centers is not expected to fall much, but delays, moves elsewhere and higher costs are expected.
