Police rule out terrorism in death of Ann Widdecombe

Ann Widdecombe, a former Conservative politician and Reform UK spokeswoman, was found dead at her home on Dartmoor on Thursday, aged 78. Police checked with counter-terrorism experts early on, but have now confirmed the death is not connected to terrorism. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
