Murder inquiry into Ann Widdecombe's death ruled out as terrorism, police confirm

Devon and Cornwall Police consulted counter-terror specialists as part of initial inquiries into the death of the 78-year-old former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman, found dead at her Dartmoor home on Thursday. Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as terrorism-related. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
