Owners of Smart Gadgets Are Far Harsher Than Reviewers on Apps and Software

Owners of smart gadgets are far more negative than reviewers about apps, software and connectivity (staying online), according to a BettaScore report published 28 October 2026. Seventy-one percent of owner opinions on these topics are negative, versus 21% of reviewer opinions. Owners were more negative in all eight categories with at least 20 positive or negative owner opinions.
