Owners Rate Connected Devices' Apps and Software Far More Negatively Than Reviewers

Owners of connected consumer hardware are far more negative than reviewers about apps, software and connectivity, according to a BettaScore report published 28 October 2026. Seventy-one percent of owner opinions on these attributes are negative, against 21% of reviewer opinions. Owners were more negative in all eight categories with at least 20 positive or negative owner opinions.
