GM Plans to Cut Car Development to Just Over Two Years
General Motors unveiled a plan in New York covering vehicle design run by AI (learning software), better batteries, powerful car computers and self-driving. It aims to shrink development from four or five years to just over two, relying on AI, fewer, stronger computers, and testing designs in computer simulations before building parts. The plan is a goal, not proven results.
