Eni Reports Gas Find Off Egypt

Eni announced on April 7, 2026 a find of 2 trillion cubic feet of gas (Tcf) off Egypt's coast, drilled in the Denise W-1 well. Eni said it could be developed quickly. Think of it as a sighting, not money in the bank: the figure is an estimate, and making it usable needs more drilling and business deals.
