A European court confirmed that Apple runs five app stores (iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, iPad, and Apple TV) as a single business, not separate ones. Apple had argued smaller platforms like Apple TV should have lighter rules. The court disagreed. Now Apple must let other companies' services work across all five stores and stop favoring its own.
