Electronic Arts Closes BioWare and Cancels New Mass Effect Game

Electronic Arts, the video game publisher, has closed BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect, and canceled its new Mass Effect game. A trailer that appears to show the canceled project, called Mass Effect: Universe, was posted on Reddit, a discussion website. Jason Schreier says it is a real trailer for that game, and IGN has confirmed it is genuine.
