Musk Says Tesla Aims to Sell 5 Million Cars a Year by 2030

Musk told investors on an October 21 call that Tesla aims to sell 5 million cars a year by about 2030, and he thinks it has a good chance. In 2020 his goal was 20 million a year by 2030; the new target is a quarter of that. Tesla delivered 1,636,129 cars in 2025, its second yearly drop in a row.
