Anti-Corruption Official Closes Case as NACC Boss Quits

The National Anti-Corruption Commission's inspector has stopped investigating Paul Brereton's conduct, saying it costs too much and the main problems are fixed. Brereton quit his job on 6 July. Nobody knows for sure whether he broke the rules by not telling people about conflicts of interest in 98 defence matters.
