Meta's New AI Can Create Photos of You Using Your Instagram Pictures

Meta launched a new tool in July 2026 that lets people type an Instagram username into an image generator and create pictures featuring that person's likeness. The AI studies someone's public photos to build the image. You can block this, but only if you manually change your privacy settings. By default, Meta uses your public posts without asking first.
