4chan, DeviantArt and Pokémon Home go offline as a web software flaw leaks before a fix

Outages on October 21, 2026 hit 4chan, DeviantArt, Wikimedia tools and Pokémon Home. Reports link them to two serious PHP flaws, a programming language that powers many websites. Rated 9.2 out of 10 for severity, their details leaked before the official fix. Fixed versions shipped the same day: 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35. DeviantArt said only "temporarily down for maintenance."
