Government Plans Hospital Sign-Ups for Newborn Trump Accounts

On October 20, 2026, the Social Security Administration said it will let parents sign up a newborn for a Trump Account using the same hospital paperwork used to get the baby's Social Security number. This is a plan, not something running yet. Parents should go to TrumpAccounts.gov and watch for a message from the Treasury, the federal money department.
