iRobot Now Sells a Cleaner You Control by Hand

iRobot unveiled the Roomba Electro Plus on 7 July 2026—a $399 cordless cleaner you operate yourself. It vacuums, mops, and disinfects by zapping tap water into a germ-killing solution. This is iRobot's first product without autonomous robots, aimed at renters, people in small homes, and anyone hesitant about robot vacuums or concerned about privacy.
