A Program That Checks Plants' Pulse to Help Farmers

Electric Plant has built Bombadil, a smart program that reads electric pulses in plant stems, like taking a pulse, and gives farmers care advice. After three years of data work it covers about 125 species. Founded by Justin Mast and DARPA-linked brain scientist Lee von Kraus, the company claims bigger harvests with 20% or more less water.
