Israeli Officer Suspended After Throwing Stun Grenade Inside Car

An Israeli border police officer has been suspended after video showed him throwing a stun grenade—a device that produces a loud noise and bright flash to stun people—into a car with Palestinian occupants during a raid. The grenade detonated inside the closed vehicle, which breaks official safety rules. All passengers survived. Police said the officer did not follow procedure.
