Shopify shares soar on strong sales outlook

Shopify shares jumped as much as 25% after it predicted stronger third-quarter sales than expected, Bloomberg reported. It expects sales growth in the low thirties percent, above 26.3% expected, Reuters reported. In my view, that sales forecast did the heavy lifting, even with profit excluding one-offs at 48 cents versus 51 cents expected.
