Man Says AI Helped Design a Gun Made on a Printer

Cody Wilson says he made the WASP, a .22 caliber handgun — a small-bullet pistol — built with a 3D printer, which builds objects layer by layer, and designed with artificial intelligence. He showed it to a Verge reporter outside his company Defense Distributed's office in Austin, Texas, 13 years after he made the first 3D-printed gun.
